- Check with Hayes. Their modems support "AutoSync": the modem converts
- sync HDLC traffic into a async replacement scheme and vice versa. You
- still need special software to handle the async end, Hayes Crosstalk(?)
- or such.

- Of course Hayes won't sell you a 1200bps modem for this, they don't make
- any anymore, but rather a Optima 14400 or better.
